My father died at age sixty eight. That death has left a hole in our family. I can see my dad doing many of the same things your dad did. I'm thinking they must have been about the same age from what you wrote.

I just shared one of many articles I had written about him on Simily. I also posted it here a while back.

It has been thirty years and I still miss him. Father's Day is one of the hardest days. It has gotten easier over the years, yet in a way, it never does. I live with the hope I will see him again.

Thankful for all these great men we called father who taught us so many lessons and sometimes used words.
