Miss’s Dog Died

“How old are you? Oh, I see sixteen. My dog was fifteen. He died yesterday,” the nurse finished taking his temperature.

“Fifteen, wow,” the young man exclaimed.

“Funny, how as humans life is just starting at your age and he was so old. He did act like a puppy up until a few days ago. That’s life.”

“I’m sorry, miss.”
